Celtic Koi Club
The Celtic Koi Club covers South East Wales with most
members based in or around Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend,
Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding Welsh Valleys.
Throughout the year we arrange the usual koi club
activities including internal pond visits, dealer coach
trips, informative talks from knowledgeable specialist
speakers and visits to and from other UK koi clubs. We
also attend some of the main Koi Shows and in recent
years have held an annual Grow & Show event with koi
purchased from leading Japanese breeders.

The benefits of club membership include advice and
support on any koi health or pond construction matters
from the accumulated knowledge of experienced club
members some of whom have been koi keepers for over
30 years.
We welcome koi novices and experienced koi keepers
equally. We’re a very friendly bunch of like-minded koi
keepers and there is much to be enjoyed on the social
side with the hospitality provided at club events – our
Welsh cakes are legendary.
