                             The Rugby World Cup is over and the cost of flights to
                             Japan returning to a realistic level is perhaps why so
                             many Koi Dealers are in Japan, on their way there, or
                             have just got back. It’s good to hear our Koi keeping
                             hobby is thriving.
                             Back in the UK Cuttlebrook Koi Farm held their Tosai
                             Weekend and Adam Byer held his ‘Hey Presto, Showa!’
                             event, both took place in November.
                             I visited my friend, Mick Preston, a couple of weeks
                             ago to take a look at the result of a spawning he
                             carried out with a female Yamabuki Ogon and two
                             males, a Beni Kikokuryu and a Mukashi Ogon. It was a
                             really successful spawning with many metallic colour
