In the IOS version, this has been built in already and it
is planned for the Android version too. Another thing
that is also very useful, for more experienced hobbyists,
is keeping track of water parameters over time in
graphs. But not only that, I plan to include advice about
what to do when one or more values are not as desired.

FROM NOW The Koi encyclopedia is also planned to be built in
soon. The data is ready in 3 languages, only IT
ON, THE APP sponsorship is required, as with all planned
improvements to the app. I am a father, family man and
IS A SORT Koi hobbyist with a day job outside of the Koi industry
OF CROWD and will remain to be so. I have stretched my budget
over the past few years to get this far but that only goes
FUNDING a certain distance which has been reached.
PROJECT From now on, the app is a sort of crowd funding
project. With every download a little part of an upgrade
to the app can be funded and it is my objective to keep
updating this app. It has taken literally years already to
get to this point and with the Koi hobbyists’ help I can
build on this. But now the basic and well-functioning
versions are there, and I believe it has the potential to
become a useful tool for all Koi hobbyists throughout
the whole pyramid. Now, as an easy one click source,
you can access your stored information, and my
objective is to share knowledge and create a shorter
learning curve, so we can spend more time with, and
talking about, our beautiful Koi.
Most of you who are reading this will be part of the top
of the pyramid and might not need the app as it is now.
But if you believe that sharing knowledge is a good
thing, and making sure that new Koi Keepers can have
a faster learning curve, this can only make our hobby
stronger, by using the app, as I believe hobbyists will.
Please make Koi Keepers aware that there is an app
that can help them avoid the basic mistakes that many
of us have encountered. And who knows, hopefully I
can keep improving the app into a tool you would all
