KOI CLUBS
South Kent Koi Club
The South Kent Koi Club was formed in 1987 and holds
its meetings on the third Sunday of each month. The
Club uses two alternating village halls for meetings,
Brabourne & Smeeth Village Hall, Bircholt Forstall, Lees
Road, East Bradbourne, Kent TN25 5LF or Mongeham
Village Hall, Mongeham Road, Deal, Kent CT14 9LR.
The halls are only used when members are not out and
about on an organised trip. These may be to a Koi dealer
or to another region’s club. A subsidised coach is
arranged with pickup points in Ashford and Thanet.
Each trip to another region is always very enjoyable and
comprises of visiting ponds and gardens where we share
ideas on many aspects of koi keeping. Every year we
hold an auction where members can purchase or sell koi
or items no longer required.
We welcome new members to share our hobby, and if
you would like to join our club then contact Derek, our
chairman, on 07860 478456.
